Welcome to Marcelo Guzman Performance Horses
I’m Marcelo Guzman Recart—trainer, clinician, and lifelong horseman with nearly 30 years of experience starting and developing performance horses across the globe.
Through my program, Heart to Heart Horsemanship, I build true connections between horse and rider—relationships based on trust, feel, and clear communication.
I’m proud to be one of the few trainers in the U.S. who has taken a colt I started from scratch—Lil’ Rockstar—all the way to Master Level Working Equitation, achieving wins not only in Working Equitation but also in Reining, Cow Horse, and more.
Marcelo and Lil’ Rockstar, Master level Working Equitation Team.
I’ve competed internationally, reaching the #1 spot in the 2018 FEI Reining World Rankings and qualifying twice for the prestigious FEI World Equestrian Games representing Team Chile. My career is marked by numerous national championships and high-level performances across multiple disciplines.
.
After training in Europe, Australia, and South America, I moved to the U.S. to continue my dream—and earned my residency doing what I love. Today, I’m based at in London, Ohio, where I train, teach, and start world-class horses of all breeds.
Whether you're looking to start a young horse, advance your performance goals, or learn true horsemanship, I’d love to work with you.
